Environmentally sound Puron® refrigerant is the refrigerant of the future.

Sean McCutcheon's Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc. recommends Bryant products. Bryant was among the first manufacturers to develop cooling products using non-ozone-depleting Puron® refrigerant.

Bryant offers an entire line of heating and cooling products with earth-friendly Puron® refrigerant which will make your home more comfortable.

Why Puron® Refrigerant?

Under the 1990 Clean Air Act, R-22 – the longtime industry standard refrigerant used in most air conditioning and heat pump systems must be phased out by 2010 because it is an ozone-depleting substance.

Bryant's broad testing in hundreds of thousands of homes has proven that Puron® (R-410A) refrigerant is superior to R-22 not only in environmental safety, but in performance and cost-saving energy efficiency. These great results have made Puron® refrigerant the universally accepted, long-term refrigerant of the future for the heating and cooling industry.

Is Puron® Refrigerant Right For You?

If you are considering upgrading your air conditioner or heat pump, keep in mind that Bryant's Puron® refrigerant-based products offer several benefits, including:

Cost-Saving Energy Efficiency – Most of our Puron refrigerant air conditioners and heat pumps offer higher efficiency ratings. Puron® refrigerant's heat-transfer properties create higher-efficiency performance.

Future Cost Of Service Savings – Due to U.S. government restrictions on future production.

Reliability – Bryant air conditioners and heat pumps with Puron® refrigerant have become the most reliable products in our entire line. Refrigerants with ozone-harming CFCs, the refrigerant used in most of today's heat pumps and air conditioners, will become harder to find and, eventually, more expensive. Upgrading to Puron® refrigerant now can help you avoid the potential rising cost of servicing most of today's air conditioners and heat pumps.

Quiet Operation – Many of the air conditioners and heat pumps with Puron® refrigerant also offer Bryant's Silencer AeroQuiet™ System for quieter operation.

Shopping for best price or online only when looking for a new air conditioning unit.

Today most of us shop on the internet – it’s quick, easy, and usually cheaper than any store. However, sometimes attempting to save a few bucks can cost you plenty down the road.

The same is true for air conditioning. HVAC is expensive and it’s tempting to try and look online for a good deal. However, without the advice of a knowledgeable HVAC specialist, you may get a lower price for the equipment, but experience major consequences in the long-run with inefficient performance and replacement costs.

HVAC Companies that offer to buy your old equipment or give you a huge discount in exchange for your old equipment

Don’t trust anyone contacting you out of the blue with an unbelievable offer for your existing, old unit and thousands off a new one. Reputable companies don’t go around promising free services or massive discounts. After all, they’re in business to make a profit. When someone makes you an unbelievable offer, you should maintain a healthy suspicion.

Be cautious of big discounts or phony offers that come out of the blue… if the offer sounds too good, it probably is. Always get at least two quotes before you buy.
